O'Cyrus Hinton is the founder and managing partner of Hinton & Associates, P.A.

Mr. Hinton is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and was graduated from Crest Senior High School in Shelby, NC, before earning a degree cum laude in Sociology from Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  Mr. Hinton then attended the University of Richmond, T.C. Williams School of Law in Richmond, Virginia, on an academic scholarship.  While in law school, O'Cyrus was a strong advocate for the voiceless, participating as an advocate for students accused of honor code violations and interning in the Social Security Clinic representing a claimant seeking disability benefits.

After graduating from law school, 0'Cyrus took and passed the South Carolina Bar Exam.  O'Cyrus first practiced as a criminal defense attorney in Columbia, South Carolina before relocating to his current locations.  In 2000, O'Cyrus founded Hinton & Associates, P.A., which he hopes will become one of the premier personal injury firms in the state.

As a trial lawyer and skilled negotiator, Cyrus has resolved many personal injury and employment cases in South Carolina.  O'Cyrus is a member of the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the National Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives.
