Olrun v. State2/3/1999
al history, and particularly his felony conviction for sexual assault, "reveals a striking pattern of recidivism and compels us to conclude that imposing consecutive sentences was not error." In addition, the record supports the magistrate's finding that Olrun's assault (including sexual touching) and harassment of two young girls in his father's game room was a serious abuse of trust and traumatized the two victims. Magistrate McMahon had the discretion to evaluate and determine the weight and priority to be accorded to the various sentencing goals.
Based on our independent review of the record, we conclude that Magistrate McMahon was not clearly mistaken in imposing sentence.
We AFFIRM the convictions and sentence.
