rp., 54 A.D. 2d 790, 387 N.Y.S. 2d 724 (1976), construing identical language contained in the New York Workmen's Compensation Law. The fact that amputation of part of the middle phalange was necessitated by the surgical procedure used to suture the amputation does not affect plaintiff's recovery under § 97-31.
For the foregoing reasons, the decision of the Industrial Commission is
Affirmed.
