While the untainted evidence established that A.J. lost control of her bowels and ran screaming down the street half naked--while Mr. Barr crawled under a car--this evidence is not so overwhelming that the admission of Officer Koss's testimony was harmless beyond a reasonable doubt.
We conclude the admission of Officer Koss's testimony as to his training on the Reid Investigative Technique and Mr. Barr's guilt constituted a manifest constitutional error that was not harmless. Accordingly, we reverse Mr. Barr's convictions and remand for a new trial.
