In re Henson10/12/2005
d by clear and convincing evidence that Judge James E. Henson violated Canons 1, 2, 3, and 5 of the Code of Judicial Conduct in practicing law while he was a county judge, and that he violated Rules 4-1.2(d) and 4-8.4(a), (b) and (c) of the Rules of Professional Conduct in advising a client in a criminal case to flee the United States. For these violations, we determine that Judge Henson is presently unfit to hold office, and we therefore remove him from his position as Circuit Judge of the Ninth Judicial Circuit with termination of compensation.
It is so ordered.
