People v. Jenkinson10/15/2002 n re Justin K. (2002) 98 Cal.App.4th 695, 699.) Since the posted 40- mph speed was justified by the requisite engineering and traffic survey, not only was the officer's subjective belief as to whether or not he was operating a speed trap irrelevant, his reliance on the posted speed was objectively reasonable, irrespective of whether he had any knowledge that a survey had been conducted to justify that speed. Accordingly, for all the reasons discussed above, we find that the court did not err when it denied Jenkinson's motion to dismiss.
DISPOSITION
The judgment is affirmed.
