Paul A. Cozine, who is being charged with DUI Manslaughter charges, was booked in the Bay Count Jail on Thursday.  On April 1^st Cozine was traveling south on Thomas Drive when a 1992 Jeep collided with Jan D. Baasch, a 54 year old bicyclist.  Her bicycle was hit in the rear.

According to the police report the crash was alcohol related.

 Baasch did not survive the injuries from the crash.  According to the accident report she was also not wearing a helmet, riding at 12:47 am when the crash occurred.  Cozine, on the other hand, was wearing his seat belt.
