Watsonville Police were able to catch up 20 year old David Hernandez, a DUI suspect who was able to evade an officer.
Hernandez was near Green Valley Road and Main Street when he was spotted by an officer at 12:38 a.m. The officer tried to pull Hernandez over but he was able to sneak away, however it was only minutes that passed when the same officer saw the vehicle again and detained everyone in the vehicle.
Hernandez had been drinking as well as having a loaded handgun, cocaine, and marijuana in his possession.
