Howard Stern's controversial, bawdy sidekick Artie Lange, has been arrested on suspicion of DUI in Tom's River, New Jersey. The celebrity gossip website TMZ reports that Artie Lange was arrested after getting into a minor fender bender yesterday afternoon. Reportedly, no one was injured in the accident. News of the Artie Lange DUI has inspired his fans to search the web for more information about the circumstances and details of his DUI arrest. Artie Lange, 41, was an original member of the sketch comedy show, "MADtv." But he is best known for replacing Jackie Martling on the Howard Stern show. Jackie Martling is a veteran stand-up comic, writer and musician who came to prominence as "Jackie the Jokeman" on Stern's show. He left the show in 2001, however, over a salary dispute. Martling's departure paved the way for Artie Lange to make his indelible (and racy) mark on "The Howard Stern" show.
