I am a 1992 graduate of New England School of Law.  I am licensed to practice in Massachusetts Superior and District Courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals (First Circuit) and the Supreme Judicial Court.

I was trained in insurance fraud litigation at Smith & Brink, Quincy Massachusetts, and in general insurance defense at a prestigious Boston insurance defense firm, Morrison, Mahoney & Miller.  Since opening my own office in 1996, I have focused my practice in several areas of the law, including general criminal and juvenile defense, drunk driving , Care and Protection/CHINS (child welfare) and personal injury . 

I am a certified bar advocate (adult criminal defense and delinquencies) through the Committee for Public Counsel (C.P.C.S.) and am also on the Children and Family Law panel of the C.P.C.S.  I represent clients, both adult and juvenile, in Boston, Hingham, Quincy, Dedham, Stoughton, Plymouth, and Brockton, to name just a few courts.  I have, in fact, represented people all over the state. 

My approach to representing clients is to first genuinely understand the needs and concerns of my client and to educate my client as to the court process and the potential outcomes at each court hearing.  I immediately begin preparing a case as if it is going to trial even if it ultimately is resolved prior to trial because I believe the best results can only be achieved if the case is positioned to go to trial and the District Attorney believes I am ready for trial. 

In addition, unlike many lawyers, I pride myself in my attentiveness to my clients.  Therefore, I make sure that I respond to each and every client in a timely manner, usually within a few hours of a phone call but no longer than 24 hours.
