Mail Solicitation by other Attorneys
The United States Constitution Bill of Rights First Amendment - Freedom of Speech - allows attorneys to send letters to you soliciting your case. By now you will probably have recieved a few of these letters. Attorneys do not have to have anything more than possess a license to practice law to be able to send such letters. Before you hire an attorney, look at his/her reputation and experience. Don't select an attorney based solely on a catchy phrase in a letter or based on an offer to handle your case at a reduced rate. Good attorneys are not cheap.
